The PM Nikola Gruevski officially laid the foundations of the new administrative building, in September 2015.

Its investor is the Joint Stock Company for Management with Housing and Business Properties of the Republic.

The new building, which is to be finished by 2017, will house the Joint Stock Company for Management with Housing and Business Properties. The building will have 6 floors; 6.400 m2 will be allocated for administrative space and 408m2 for 9 business offices.

The start of the construction works started on 8th September – the Independence Day of RM.

‘The projects of this kind are a step forward to modernise the administration. In this line, in one year, we have decreased the number of institutions paying rent, previously housed in unsuitable buildings and having unfavourable working conditions. With it, we are gradually changing the image of the state administration’ PM Gruevski said on the day when the official construction started.

The new building, according to the initial announcement, will cost 8.4 mill Euros.

The project documentation was prepared by ‘Arhitektonika’, a company which already received 141.000 Euros within the project Skopje 2014. The design proposal was prepared by Zharko Chaushevski, a director of ‘Arhitektonika’. He won the second place at the official open call for design proposal, and was paid 200.000 denars or 3.200 Euros as a prize.

At the electronic auction for constructing the building, a company for production, trade and construction, Dekon - Kom DOOEL uvoz-izvoz Skopje submitted the lowest offer of 5.20 mill Denars, and was selected as the best tenderer.
