The official database of buildings, new facades, sculptures, monuments, fountains and other structures which are components of Skopje’s makeover financed by public funds
Construction of the Foreign Ministry designed by architects Lidija and Blagoja Stojanovski commenced in April 2010, and it was ceremonially launched in October 2012.
According to the available documentation, 19.8 million euros have been spent on the building thus far. This sum does not include the landscape design around the building.
The building is comprised of two underground floors, a ground floor and seven storeys. The last storey features sculptures of statesmen from all around the world. These sculptures in addition to the sculptures positioned by the entrance of the Ministry drew relentless criticism from construction and architecture professionals, the public and the media.
