The official database of buildings, new facades, sculptures, monuments, fountains and other structures which are components of Skopje’s makeover financed by public funds
This administrative building comprised of a ground floor, eight storeys and a loft is meant to house the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services and the Government Procurement Bureau.
Construction of the building commenced in October 2013, several weeks after the special forces quashed protests for the preservation of park at 3am by forcibly removing the protesters, the so-called “park defenders” (“parkobrani”), and clearing the terrain. Before it was destroyed, the space adjacent to the Hotel Bristol was a landmark mini-park in commemoration of the Skopje earthquake of 1963.
